Favorite sound byte of the night:
Me: I’m leaving tomorrow for Thailand.
John: Wow really? You have to take the boat tour on the Mae Khong River. It takes 1 hour to go downstream but 6 hours to go back up because of the current.
A few minutes later:
Wale: So is it your first time in Thailand?
Me: No, I’m from there.
Wale: Oh, so why is John acting like a tour guide telling you “oh you gotta take the Mah Jong boat tour” and all about the damn currents?
